During a recent visit, New Hospital General Hospital had the honor of hosting Dr. Konstantinos Christodoulou, a urologist from Thessaloniki, and Mr. Dionisys Apostolou, General Director of INEX MEDICAL from Spata, Athens, Greece. Our colleagues from Greece attended FURS procedures — a minimally invasive method for the removal of kidney and ureteral stones using laser technology — performed by Dr. Paunel Popov, Specialist in Urology at New Hospital General Hospital. The procedures were carried out using the LaserClast 35 system manufactured by the Swiss company EMS.
